I have enjoyed a lifelong addiction to seeking "WOW." Growing up, my addiction was focused on getting a "WOW" sports victory or making a WOW" play. During my business career, that addiction was focused on trying to get "WOW" performance reviews, seeking that "WOW" strategy, and trying to deliver a "WOW" speech/presentation. These days, my pursuit of "WOW" is focused on creating images and paintings.
It would be great if my addiction was satisfied much more frequently than it is. Unfortunately, the majority of my works are okay but certainly not "WOW." Thankfully, I believe Robert Browning was right when he wrote "Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's heaven for?
